Mostly Indie Christmas
I found out that Ryan Adams had recorded a Christmas song called Hey Parker, It’s Christmas (named after girlfriend Parker Posey?), and I was curious. Well, trying to find this song on the internet was kind of challenging, and then I used Google’s BlogSearch and uncovered a wealth of information. Not only did I find Hey Parker, It’s Christmas, but I also stumbled across a number of other holiday gems from various hipster/indie and pseudo-indie bands and artists. So here’s a collection for your downloading pleasure.

If you were about to mention the notable absence of any of Sufjan Stevens’ fine Christmas recordings, it’s because I felt they were too good to break up into a mix. That’s why you can download Hark! Songs For Christmas (Volumes 1-3) in its entirety.
